Mark 11:27 โ 13:37
Mark presents Tuesday as a full day for Jesus.
From morning to evening, Heโs surrounded by religious leadersโPharisees, Sadducees, scribesโeach one confronting Him with questions, traps, and challenges.
They want clarity. Power. Proof.
But Jesus offers none of the answers they expect.
His authority isnโt borrowed from their traditions.
His kingdom isnโt shaped by their assumptions.
And His call isnโt to control or predictโbut to trust.
In the middle of it all, Jesus brings them back to the heart of everything:
โLove the Lord your Godโฆ and love your neighbor as yourself.โ
Thatโs the response Heโs still looking for.
Not perfect insight. Not certainty. Not religious status.
Just faith that expresses itself in love.
Even when the story feels unclear.
Because right after that conversation, Jesus starts talking about the end of the ageโabout the destruction of the temple, false messiahs, wars, and earthquakes.
Itโs heavy. And itโs full of mystery.
But the consistent thread in Jesusโs teaching is this:
โStay awake.โ
โKeep watch.โ
โBe on guard.โ
In other words: Stay faithful in the unfinished.
Because there will be seasons when the fruit is easy to seeโwhen your faith feels vibrant and alive.
But there will also be times when the fruit is hidden.
When the world is uncertain.
When it feels like God is slow, or distant, or silent.
And thatโs when love matters most.
So yesโsometimes a dry branch means a new season is coming.
But other times, God is simply calling you to keep watering the soil.
To keep showing up.
To keep trusting that something is growing beneath the surface.
Faith in the unfinished means choosing love when you donโt have clarity,
And believing God is still at workโespecially when you canโt see the ending yet.
Mindfulness Moment:
Take a deep breath.
Is there something in your life that once felt full of purposeโฆ but now feels dry or uncertain?
Hold it gently in your mind.
Ask God:
โIs this something youโre calling me to releaseโฆ or something youโre inviting me to tend again?โ
Take a deep breath.
Donโt rush to an answer.
Just sit with the question in quiet for 30 seconds.
Nowโoffer it to God with open hands.
Not to let go immediately, but to release your need for control... let Him lead.
You may want to share this moment with a trusted friend or spiritual companion.
May the God who is faithful in every season
help you stay rooted in loveโ
even in what feels unfinished.
